In this country, Ramses Shaffy is somewhat of an icon. He's in his seventies now, and he has lived his life to the Max. But most important: he wrote beautiful songs, and I had the honour of singing them in Zing Vecht Huil Bid Lach Werk en Bewonder (which is a hell of a title to put on a flyer). It put me on the map as a singer. The map that still has a lot of unknown territory to explore...
